Tri Tip - The Best Sunday Dinner

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 - 2 lbs Oak Barn Beef Tri Tip Roast

1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

1.5 teaspoon Dijon Mustard

tablespoon Olive Oil

5 - 6 Minced Garlic Cloves

1 teaspoon Onion Powder

tablespoons minced fresh Rosemary

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MARINADE:

  1. Put roast in ziplock bag
  2. Whisk all ingredients together except salt and pepper
  3. Pour remaining ingredients into the bag
  4. Seal bag and move contents around to thoroughly cover meat
  5. Put in a pan and let sit in refrigerator of 6 - 8 hours and no more than 24 hours

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKING

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Put roast in shallow baking pan
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. Cook for 30 - 40 minutes or until 135 - 140 degrees
  5. Remove from oven and wrap with tin foil (tent so seasoning does not rub off)
  6. Let stand for 15 minutes
  7. Slice against the grain and serve
