Shipping is Only Available Within the Continental United States.
Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is available by UPS Next Day Air pricing. We do not ship internationally. Sorry, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, but we are happy to deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers.

Our quality products are individually vacuum-sealed, packaged in attractive gift packaging, surrounded by enough dry ice or gel packs to keep them at the desired temperature during transit, and packed into our reusable, insulated freezer totes. These totes are then placed in a corrugated cardboard boxes to provide added protection for your items in transit.
Note: Oak Barn Beef offers some shelf stable products. A shelf stable product is one that does not require refrigeration until it is opened. Orders that only contain shelf stable products may not be shipped with dry ice, gel packs, or an insulated freezer tote.
Please allow 3-5 business days for processing time in addition to the shipping transit times. Oak Barn Beef charges a calculated rate per shipping address.
Packages are shipped via ground services. For expedited shipping, please choose ‘UPS Next Day Air’ at checkout.
Processing & Delivery Schedule
WEATHER DELAYS: Oak Barn Beef reserves the right to temporarily refrain from processing orders based on severe weather in the transit process. Customers are notified immediately via phone and/or email of the slight delay. Usually occurring in winter weather, typical delays are 1-2 business days.
Oak Barn Beef strives to provide prompt delivery of our products. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing time in addition to the shipping transit times. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we ship based on the transit times from our facility to the final destination within the same calendar week. For example, an order received on Wednesday, going to California, would not be shipped until the following Monday. Please refer to the zone schedule below to estimate delivery times.
UPS Ground: We ship UPS Ground to customers that choose that option. Midwestern states can expect their boxes approximately 1-2 days after shipment and coastal states can expect their boxes approximately 3-4 days after shipment.
**PLEASE NOTE: This schedule is provided to offer an estimate and is not a guarantee of delivery times. While we make every effort to meet these guidelines, periods of increased volume (including holidays and unforeseen circumstances) may extend the processing time of shipments. For transit zones close to Nebraska, orders may arrive earlier than expected. Upon processing an order for shipment, emails are generated to each customer with UPS tracking numbers. Please refer to this email with UPS tracking ID# for a more precise delivery date. Addresses & Availability
Oak Barn Beef offers no guarantee of delivery with incorrect addresses. Please ensure all shipping addresses are correct prior to submitting your order. Packages are clearly marked “perishable” and will expire if not kept cold. It is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure that the contents of the package can be refrigerated promptly upon delivery. Oak Barn Beef is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or perish due to the recipient not being available at the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure someone is available to receive a gift package at the time of delivery. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make any special arrangements upon delivery for any order shipped to any apartment address. Typically, UPS will deliver to an apartment lobby. Please note that UPS will deliver to your doorstep with “No Signature Required.”
Your products should be frozen, partially frozen, or cool to the touch when you open the package. Partially thawed products can be re-frozen. Oak Barn Beef provides suggested cooking instructions with our perishable products. It is the responsibility of the consumer to follow all health and safety guidelines when thawing and handling products.
Packages may contain partially-dissipated dry ice and/or gel packs. This is common in the shipping process. Avoid touching any remaining dry ice with bare skin. You may leave dry ice inside the cooler to evaporate or use gloves to remove and dispose of the ice in a well-ventilated outdoor location, safely away from children and pets.
Our products can only be shipped within the continental United States. We do not ship internationally.
We try to be more sustainable is with our Return Your Box Program. We put the following information into every box shipped from Oak Barn Beef:
Our boxes and liners work as great travel coolers, so if you want to keep them, feel free! If not, we would love to get them back so we can reuse them. Here are a few options if you choose to return your box:
Media Mail with the USPS: If you choose to ship the box back to us, add a used book and you will get a discounted price of approximately $4.05 from USPS! Unfortunately, you can ONLY send books/reading material to get the discounted rate. We will take all the donated books and donate them to the organization - Books For Africa! Attached is a return address slip.
Drop-Off in West Point: If you would like to return your packages to us in West Point, please email email@example.com to coordinate a meeting time, or you can drop the packages off in front of the Oak Barn Beef headquarters building in West Point at 706 S. Lincoln St. West Point NE 68788. Please email Hannah to let her know that you are doing so, so we can make sure they are picked up in a timely manner and avoid them becoming destroyed in the outdoor elements.
