Philly Cheesesteak Quesadillas - Easy & Delicious!
I am always looking for easy meals to whip up for lunch. This one seems like a great one for any meal, but I am keeping it in mind for my work-from-home lunches! This recipe is adapted from Chocolate Moosey. Check out their page for a ton of delicious recipes!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- Half of 1 small onion, sliced
- Half of 1 green pepper, sliced into strips
- 2 large white mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tortillas
- 1/4 pound (4 ounces) sliced steak
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions:
- Cook steak to desired temperature stove-top or grill.
- Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, peppers, and mushrooms and cook until they are no longer crunchy!

In another large skillet over medium heat, add the remaining 1/2 teaspoon oil. Once the oil and pan are hot, add 1 tortilla. Top half of the tortilla with 1 slice of cheese, some cooked steak, and some of the onion mixture. Fold the quesadilla in half.
- When the cheese is melted and the underside has brown spots, flip the quesadilla then cook the remaining side until golden-brown. Remove to a cutting board and cut in half.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
