Carne Asadas are a delicious recipe that takes some time to marinate, but creates a quick dinner opportunity the night of.

Courtney B.'s Carne Asada Recipe

Carne Asada
Ingredients:
  • Oak Barn Beef Skirt Steak, or any other tender cut of beef, or Fajita meat if you will be pan frying
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Oregano
  • 1/4 cu Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice
  • 4 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • Splash of Lemon Juice
  • Tortillas
  • Misc. Topping (optional) - Sour cream, salsa, veggies, etc.
Instructions:
  1. Mix ingredients together in a gallon ziplock bag. Place meat in bag and allow to marinade. The longer it sits in the juice, the more flavor there will be.
  2. Grill meat for 8 minutes each side until cooked to desired doneness. If pan frying, flip meat every five minutes until cooked to desired doneness.
  3. Cut into strips, cutting against the grain of the meat. Serve with warm tortillas to make a juicy, delicious taco dish.

Courtney's family loves Skirt Steak, and I can tell why with this recipe! If you give it a try, please leave a comment or email Hannah and tell her what you think!
