Cold temperatures cause the need for a belly-filling warm meal for lunch or dinner. Our family loves to throw a few ingredients together into a pot and let it simmer and have a delicious, filling meal. With Oak Barn Beef Stew Meat, which is pre-cut so all you have to do is throw it into the pot, it makes it 10x easier. Here’s how we make it: (via Mom’s advice)
INGREDIENTS:
1 can of 28-oz of diced tomatoes
1 can of corn
1 can of green beans
1 can of peas
1/2 cup Chopped Carrots
1/2 medium onion (chopped)
Salt & Pepper
2-3 Shakes Worcester Sauce (As I said, mom’s descriptions :) )
1/3 Cup Red Wine
Crock Pot (You can also use a pot on the stove- we prefer a crock pot!)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add stew meat first, salt & pepper A LOT.
Combine vegetables, Worcester Sauce and Red Wine. Salt & Pepper again.
Leave on medium heat for 5-6 hours (The crock pot setting we use is “8”)
That’s it. Dinner is done, and you have one heck of a delicious dish for dinner and maybe leftovers for tomorrow. Comment your thoughts on this recipe-
